Are the plugins available for both Mac and Windows?
Yes. Our plugins are available as VST3 for Windows, and as both VST3 and AU for macOS.
When do I receive my download?
After purchasing, you will receive an email from Gumroad with your download link. Downloads are delivered digitally within a few minutes of purchase.
How do I install Folda?
Folda ships with installers for both Windows and macOS. Download the installer matching your operating system from your Gumroad receipt and run it — the installer handles plugin file placement automatically. After installing, rescan plugins in your DAW if Folda does not appear immediately.
How do I install the free plugins (Symmetry, Waveform, Sidewave)?
These plugins are distributed as VST3 files. On Windows, place the .vst3 file in C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3. On macOS, place VST3 files in ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3 and AU components in ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components.
macOS shows a security warning when I try to open the installer. What do I do?
Folda is notarized by Apple, so the installer should open cleanly on recent macOS versions. If you see a warning, right-click (or Control-click) the installer file in Finder and choose Open from the context menu — macOS will then allow it to run. The same flow applies if any plugin file triggers a warning.
Windows SmartScreen is blocking the installer. How do I proceed?
Click "More info" on the SmartScreen dialog, then "Run anyway". SmartScreen flags new installers until they build up a reputation with Microsoft, which is expected for a newly-released product.
My DAW cannot find the plugin after installing. What should I check?
First, confirm the plugin files are in the correct folder (see install instructions above). Then rescan plugins in your DAW — most DAWs have a "rescan plugins" option in their audio/plugin preferences. If the plugin still does not appear, verify that your DAW supports VST3 or AU — our plugins do not support the older VST2 format.
Do I have to make an account?
No. You do not need to create an account to purchase or use our plugins.
What is your refund policy?
We offer a 14-day satisfaction refund on paid plugins. If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, email us at sentinel@sentinelav.com.au within 14 days of buying with your Gumroad order number and we will refund you. This policy is offered in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law, which may entitle you to a refund, replacement, or other remedy if a product has a major failure — your ACL rights apply regardless of the 14-day window.
Do I have to pay for updates?
No. Updates and bug fixes for your purchased version are included free of charge.
